Dr. Thompson is the recipient of many awards, including Western University’s prestigious Clinician of the Year award.
Dr. Thompson received her Bachelors of Science degree in Zoology and Physiology from the University of Wyoming in 2009. She attended Western University College of Optometry in Pomona, California where she earned her Doctorate in Optometry in 2014. Throughout her clinical education, Dr. Thompson was the recipient of many awards and accolades, including Western University’s prestigious Clinician of the Year award in 2013.
Dr. Thompson is highly skilled in primary eye care and especially enjoys contact lens fittings. She diagnoses and treats common eye infections and diseases, with a particular interest in dry eye treatments. Additionally, Dr. Thompson’s extensive training has also allowed her to detect vision abnormalities that can hinder a child’s learning or an adult’s ability to efficiently and comfortably work. Dr. Thompson gets a great thrill over helping people achieve their best and most comfortable vision possible and she strives to provide this for every patient.
Dr. Thompson and her husband, Trustin are the proud parents of two young children. They reside in Parker where they are active community members. When she is not providing eye care to the community, you can find her enjoying family time, hiking, or traveling.
