Why did you get into optometry?
Growing up, I have always had bad eyes. I remember getting glasses in 5th grade and the huge difference it made in my life. Throughout my childhood, I remember going to the eye doctor and having a great experience there. In addition, my eye doctor was the friendliest, happiest doctor I have ever had and I thought, “that’s what I want my life to be like.” I always had an interest in science, as well as helping others, which made optometry a great fit for me.
