Why did you get into Optometry?
I owe my career in Optometry to my grandmother. During my childhood, I never needed glasses and did not have much exposure to the field. My interest to pursue a career in Optometry developed when my grandmother’s Optometrist diagnosed her with Macular Degeneration. I realized the impact her primary eye care provider had on saving her vision and it motivated me to want to help people in the same way.
